What to Expect From a Barre Workout

If we are being honest here you know that for the first few weeks you’re going to be sore. You’re probably using muscles that you’ve not used in a while, and you may be using other muscles in new ways. This causes muscle soreness.

It means that you’re strengthening your muscles whilst you’re also burning fat and calories. This soreness will go away. You might want to start a little slowly at first but as your body becomes accustomed to the movements, you’ll be able to add more workouts and increase their intensity.

You can expect to have fun and you’ll notice that your jeans fit you differently. It’s not uncommon after a month or two of classes for someone to see their body change.

Barre classes and programs with your peers provide a well-rounded and fun approach to exercise and you’ll definitely have fun doing it.
